Position Objective

Coordinates the production and manages inventory of all printed materials for the Marketing Services group for all brands.  Works closely with the Marketing and Graphic Arts team to set-up internal printed jobs or work with exterior print agencies to meet key deadlines and inventory requirements.  Operates and maintains the Konica Minolta C8000 digital printer for print-on-demand services.  Coordinates placing printed materials into inventory or being mailed to receiving parties.  Does color correction and elementary design work on art files to assure proper printing and graphic design.

 

Duties

  • Print Execution:   Printing literature and support materials on the Konica Minolta C4080 digital printer while using in-line and stand-alone finishers.
  • Print Room Coordination:  Enter orders into SAP system, track print jobs  and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration Marketing team.
  • Manage Inventory:  Monitor printed material and sales asset inventory by managing incoming print requests to balance internal and external production.  Place all materials into stock and facilitate kitting and shipping as needed.  Ability to lift 50lbs.
  • Manage the Print Room:  Order paper, supplies and packaging materials needed to run the print room.  Coordinate maintenance on the Konica Minolta C8000 digital printer.
  • General Support:  Support Marketing Services with graphic design corrections and edits and work on specialty projects as needed.

Relationship To Others

Team member will work directly with the Channel Marketing Manager, Graphic Artists, Administrative Assistants and other Marketing Services personnel.

Dimensions of Position

Marketing team member works independently with guidance of supervisor and in coordination with appropriate resources.

 

Skills and Knowledge:

Education

Desirable to have or have in progress a two-year degree in the area of graphic design, applied arts or visual communications.  High school diploma or GED required.

Experience

  • 2+ years of experience with digital print press system set up, adjustment, and operation.
  • Experience with digital color press systems like Konica Minolta, Xerox and Cannon.
  • Experience with Fiery Print Controllers and Adobe suite (Photoshop, InDesign, etc..) of design software 
  • The ability to consult on print requests and recommend best options based on inputs.
  • Experience managing color quality/consistency, proper registration and finishers (folder, cutter, 3-hole punch)
  • Experience working with plotters and large format color printers.
