Objective

We are targeting a person who has experience and enjoys working in change management in a fast-growing organization. While WAGNER is a well-established company with 60+ years of existence, the Americas’ Industrial Solutions is in a rapid-growth mode, similar to what you might find in a startup company. We are looking for someone who enjoys this type of challenge and thrives in an environment of driving change.  The Technical Service, Inside Sales Rep will be responsible for the execution of a customer care organization that supports all current sales channels at Wagner Spray Tech (IS). Technical Service, Inside Sales Rep will participate in guiding operational efficiency, productivity and customer service policies with an emphasis on continuous improvement in order to ensure an exceptional customer experience.

 

 

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Interact with customers (internal and external) by managing in-bound and out-bound phone calls and emails
  • Provide technical service to customers, distribution channels, outside sales and service centers as it relates to the functionality of the product and the policies concerning the product (i.e. product recommendation, product assembly, troubleshooting, where to purchase products and parts, return policy, warranty claims)
  • Provide stock availability / lead times, shipment tracking information. Excelling in sales support, product recommendations and price quotations for Wagner products and accessories
  • Organization of phone coverage to maximize the customer’s ability to contact a Wagner representative
  • Responsible for product return process in SAP, RGA creation, returned product inspection and credit creation.
  • Take ownership of customers issues and follow problems through to resolution
  • Improve customer service experience, create engaged customers and facilitate organic growth
  • Create an atmosphere that incubates solutions for customers that increase sales
  • Highlight key product features that contribute to unique user experiences

 

 

Dimensions of Position

  • The Technical Service, Inside Sales Rep role is to provide excellent customer service and to promote this idea throughout the customer service team and organization. The goal is to increase customer satisfaction, loyalty and retention and to exceed customer expectations

 

Experience

  • High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).  Must have at least one year of similar experience. Knowledge of paint industry and application equipment a plus
  • Experience in organization which provides overall solutions based around the core product offerings
  • Awareness of industry’s latest technology trends and applications
  • Strong client-facing and communication skills
  • Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills

 

Skills

  • Decision-making, exhibits sound and accurate judgement, able to explain reasoning and communicate clearly, both written and orally with your team
  • Mechanical aptitude is helpful in understanding the equipment and processes
  • Team player, dependable and works well in a team environment
  • Tactful; reacts well under pressure, responds to internal and external customer’s needs promptly and professionally
  • Intermediate to Strong skill in Microsoft Office 2016; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
