Title: Production Supervisor
Reports to: Production Director
Position Objective:
The Production Supervisor position leads teams and supervises people across multiple employee categories / payrolls in production areas to maximize efficiency in quality, delivery and cost.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
• Manages and improves production safety, aggressively eliminates unsafe processes
• Assures processes are followed to meet production schedules
• Identifies and sets priorities and organizes work schedules
• Schedules and prioritizes constrained resources, and adjusts staffing to meet flow and customer requirements
• Determines and executes disciplinary action when appropriate
• Collaborates with procurement and distribution of production material to meet schedules
• Increase production efficiency through continuous improvement and waste elimination
• Ensures preventive maintenance is performed according to schedule
• Helps implement Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies and training
• Evaluates, assess, identifies and leads the deployment of workforce training
• Actively deploys production improvements within the value stream strategy
• Initiates and conducts process improvement dialogs with Leads and Team Members
• Drives root cause corrective action projects and drives continuous improvement
• Leads production area status reporting and monitors / audits area metrics
• Leads the creation, implementation and training of standard work procedures
• Other duties as assigned
Required Experience and Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree in a Manufacturing-related discipline or a minimum of 3+ years of successful leadership in a manufacturing environment demonstrating significant efficiency gains, effective leadership, and tangible financial benefit
• Previous experience in Lean Manufacturing, manufacturing operations processes, materials and / or quality
