Great opportunity to get into professional sales/Account Executive type role. Not typical "sales" role (no cold calling, no real "selling"). Role will support current Account Managers/Sales roles. Working with setting up promotions, pricing, sales analytics, etc..

 

 

Title:  Junior Sales Manager                   

 

Reports to:     Sales Director                      

 

 

Position Objective:

 

This position will be responsible for supporting assigned customers (retailers) and internal sales teams. They provide ongoing sales support to existing customers, help identify new sales leads, and collaborate with sales teams to develop sales plans and pricing schemes.

 

Accountabilities:

 

  • Provides ongoing account support to existing customers assigned by the sales team.
  • Informs new and existing customers of promotions, upgraded product lines, and offers.
  • Notifies customers of unforeseen delivery delays or other complications, and facilitates suitable interventions.
  • Collaborates with the sales team to identify new sales leads and develop sales plans.
  • Reporting to sales managers as required.
  • Conducts sales research and identifies new sales opportunities.
  • Documents processes and maintains sales department records.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

 

*Education

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, sales related field is desired. 

 

*Experience

  • Previous experience in a sales environment is preferred

 

*Skills

  • Proficiency in Office software, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Express.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Great organizational and time-management skills.
