Title:  Sales Coordinator

Reports To:  Customer Service Manager

 

 

Position Objective:

A customer service representative supports customers by processing orders, managing orders and responding to both internal and external customers. They're the front line of support for customers and they help ensure that customers are satisfied with products, services, and features.

 

Responsibilities

  • Process orders, returns, and requests.
  • Keeping records of customer interactions, transactions, comments and complaints.

 

70%                 2          Handling customer and sales rep questions via phone or email

  • Maintaining a positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
  • Responding promptly to customer inquiries.
  • Communicating with customers through various channels.
  • Communicating and coordinating with colleagues as necessary.
  • Acknowledging and resolving customer complaints.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support.
  • Escalate complaints along a number of communication channels.

 

   5%                3          Maintaining department processes and involvement in team improvements.

  • Providing feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process.

 

 

Relationship to Others:

  • 80% of all communication is external with customers, sales reps and sales managers.
  • 20% is internal communication with technical service, production, planning, distribution and finance personnel.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

 

Education

High school diploma/GED required, Associate degree in a business related field preferred.  

 

Experience

Minimum of three years customer service experience in a call center or phone support.

 

Skills/Abilities Required

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be customer oriented with the willingness to actively look for ways to help people.
  • Requires teamwork, multitasking, time management, and organization skills.
  • Requires intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and ERP system (SAP) and other computer skills.
  • Ability to remain professional and courteous with customers at all times.
  • Ability to understand and speak Spanish would be beneficial.
